Give Hope this Holiday Season

This holiday season, the gift of hope that patients at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh are waiting for could come from you.

Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation’s annual holiday campaign – Give Hope – returns today and will run through the end of the year. The Give Hope campaign offers Pittsburghers the perfect opportunity to support local children from this region who need our support as they continue to battle illnesses and life-threatening conditions like cancer, diabetes, and heart disease.

Children’s Foundation has partnered with dozens of local retailers and organizations who are committed to helping the patients at UPMC Children’s Hospital. By shopping or donating at these partners, the community can show their support to the thousands of children who will rely on UPMC Children’s this holiday season.

Partner highlights include:

  • Ace Hardware: Visit a local Ace Hardware year-round to make a donation at the register with the Ace Round-Up. Ace is also committed to a Holiday Round-Up Campaign from Nov. 24 through Dec. 25, with select in-store purchases.
  • Nordstrom: Now through December 24, purchase a Children’s Miracle Network Gift tag at Nordstrom at Ross Park Mall and 100% of the purchase will benefit UPMC Children’s.
  • Dairy Queen: Visit a local Dairy Queen year-round to make a donation at the register when you stop by for a hot eat, or cool treat, with all donations benefiting UPMC Children’s, including their Holiday Round-up at the registers Nov. 15 to 30.
  • Panda Express: Customers can donate at the register with a round-up at the register year-round. When customers do, a Panda Express crew member will ring their famous bell and say “thank you” for each donation.
  • Speedway: Speedway encourages all customers to round up at the register year-round with any purchase, with all donations supporting UPMC Children’s.
  • Direct EnergySupport UPMC Children’s with a $100 Making Miracles donation made by Direct Energy for every installation of a New System (One Hour) new water heater (Ben Franklin), or Surge Protection service (Mr. Sparky).

“When you give, you invest in transforming kids’ lives through expert, compassionate care,” said Rachel Petrucelli, interim president, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation. “Gifts made to UPMC Children’s will help our families focus on what they need to focus on, and that’s getting their child better.”

Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation exists to provide financial support for UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh’s mission of excellence in patient care, teaching, and research. By supporting the Foundation, you are providing hope to the kids in the region and beyond.
