August marks the 10th annual RE/MAX #MonthofMiracles and we’re excited to celebrate the amazing work being done by RE/MAX Miracle Agents and Offices for UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
Since 1992, RE/MAX has supported Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, raising more than $170 million for hospitals just like ours. These funds are critical, and for one Pittsburgh RE/MAX agent, Deb Reddick, the contribution to the Miracle Home Program is more than just a donation to an amazing cause – it’s personal.
At 11 months old, Deb’s granddaughter, Lennox Hope, was on her way to taking her first steps. Lennox hadn’t been herself for several months, though. Once always happy and smiling, Lennox had become cranky and inconsolable at night. After countless visits to her pediatrician and escalating weakness to the point of no longer standing or moving her legs, her parents took her to the ER at UPMC Children’s on October 28, 2019. An MRI that same day revealed a tumor pushing on Lennox’s spinal cord. Emergency chemotherapy and steroids were administered. After several biopsies and scans over the days that followed, Lennox was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma; in addition to the solid tumor, the cancer had spread into her bone marrow. Lennox championed through six rounds of chemotherapy, along with all the port accessing, scans and other procedures that become part of a cancer warrior’s journey.
Lennox has come a long way, post-chemo scans and a bone marrow biopsy in February 2020 showed no evidence of disease (NED)! While Lennox’s journey towards survivorship is not over, she remains NED and her team is optimistic!

The Miracle Home & Miracle Property Program allows RE/MAX Miracle Agents to make a donation on behalf of their clients after each closed transaction.
